Free Technique Class for Members
Climbing technique is a fundamental aspect of any strong climber’s arsenal. Good technique also provides the basis for rapid improvement and development as a climber. We want our members to maximize their growth as climbers. As a result, we’ll be offering a free technique class to our members on the last Monday of every other month.
The class will be taught by Daniel Luke, Stone Summit’s co-owner and Director of Operations. Daniel has years of climbing, training, and coaching experience so don’t miss out on this chance to drastically improve your climbing.
The class is members-only and, because the class is demonstration only, signing up is not required. The first class will take place on January 30th from 6:30-7:15pm.
Stone Summit Parent Climb Time
If you wish you could climb on a weekday morning but you don’t have anyone to take care of your children, we have a solution. Starting on February 1st, we’ll be offering Parent Climb Time from 10:00-11:30am.
During Parent Climb Time, parents of children ages 3 – 5 can climb while we entertain the kids. We’ll be offering Parent Climb Time every Wednesday during Women’s Morning Out. Pending interest, we may expand times offered.
Initially, we’ll only have five spots available each Wednesday and this service is sign-up only. The cost is $13 per child. Sign-up for Parent Climb Time will be available starting January 16th at the front desk so stop by or give us a call for more information.
2012 Youth Nationals and Adult World Cup at Stone Summit
We’d also like to announce that Stone Summit will be hosting the 2012 USA Climbing Youth National Championships and the 2012 IFSC Adult World Cup.
Youth Nationals will take place July 5th-8th and will feature over 400 of the country’s strongest young climbers from all 50 states.
Adult Worlds will take place September 29th-30th and will feature over 80 of the world’s strongest competitive climbers. Several of the competitors traveling to Stone Summit for Adult Worlds onsight 5.14! Stay tuned for more details in the coming months.
Youth Team Wins Regionals
We’d like to Congratulate the Stone Summit Youth Climbing Team for winning the ABS Regional Championship in Melbourne, Florida.

Pilates Classes Now Being Held. Classes are included in Day Passes and Memberships, and will be held every Monday and Wednesday from 6:00-7:00pm. Come strengthen your core, build lean muscle, and gain flexibility.

As an addition to our wonderful birthday party events, we now offer Birthday Party Packages. With reserved party rooms adjacent to beginner climbing walls and lounging areas for parents to relax and enjoy the fun, Stone Summit provides the ideal backdrop for your child’s birthday.
A standard party includes: dedicated staff members to belay the party guests (1:6 staff to kid ratio), rental climbing gear (shoes, harnesses), a party room for presents and food (not included), and 2 hours of gym and party room time.
The PACKAGE includes all the fun listed above PLUS the birthday child gets their own Stone Summit T-Shirt and all the party goers get a custom Stone Summit Party Bag full of climbing type goodies so everyone gets to remember the great day of climbing.

Yoga Update
Our yoga classes have now been separated to help each of you more specifically. Monday's class will be designed with Power in mind, Tuesday's class will be more oriented towards Beginners, and Wednesday's class will be set up to help you with your technique. Come enjoy all of the things Stone Summit has to offer
First Friday Frenzy
Members bring a friend for free! The first Friday of every month, Members can bring a friend in to climb for free. Get your friends to do something different. What a great way to spend more time with your friends and teach them to love climbing too. * Membership types include Monthly, EFT or Annual.
Yoga and Abs Classes - Mondays Tuesdays and Wednesdays
Come join us for fitness classes that help improve your strength and endurance. Yoga and Abs classes are taught in our separate fitness rooms to provide you with the most focused and enjoyable experience. These classes are free with your membership, or, if you not a member, just pay the regular daily rate. Please check our calendar or click here for the weekly schedules for these classes.
A Woman's Morning Out
Ladies- Come climb on Wednesdays from 10-11:30 am. We provide you with gear (harness, shoes, chalk bag) AND staff assistance. You don't have to wait for your belay partner to be available. $8 for members, $16 for non-members. Use that time to keep up your exercise routine, or just have some time to yourself. Please call and let us know you are coming ahead of time.
Overnight Locker Rentals Available
Need a place to store your climbing shoes, harness, chalk bag and rope. Tired of hauling your equipment around in your car, then we have a solution for you. Monthly locker rentals available with lock included for just $5 per month. Please register at the front desk.

MEETING/PARTY ROOM AVAILABLE FOR RENT. Our meeting room is furnished with table, chairs, big screen and projector for your next meeting or presentation. Our AV equipment easily hooks up with your laptop for great Powerpoint presentations or for movies. The cost is $25 per hour during the weekday. Come check it out for your next party or meeting!
